Each year, the DDBSA recognizes the Dogue de Bordeaux holding the most
working titles. This achievement is honored with a certificate and engraved
plaque presented during the weekend of the National Specialty. This award has
been in existence since 2000 and is awarded to dogs owned by members of the DDBSA.
Below are the current and past winners of this award along with the titles
earned and a brief description of the titles.

2007 ~ Mount Sinai's Bela Jade (Jade)
Owned by Jennifer Doyle, Ohio
Titles earned: CGC, CD, CL3-F, CL3-R, CL3-H, CL3-S, CL4-F, TT
DDBS WD Titles: WDI, WDII, WDIII
Notes: Jade is the first DDB to compete in agility in the United States.
Jade has consistently achieved placements, not only in agility events, but also
in obedience and rally obedience events. In December, 2006 Jade earned an
overall high score for Rally Obedience Novice.

CGC - Canine Good Citizen through the AKC CD – Companion Dog through the AKC
CL3-F, CL3-R, CL3-H, CL3-S, CL4-F – Agility titles through Canine Performance
Events TT - Temperament Tested through the ATTS (American Temperament Test

2006 ~ Ch. Gothic Guardiens Purl in a Quiet Storm
(Purl)
Owned by Rick and Val Barr,
California
Titles earned: CGC, TDI, TT, CS, CI, RN, NR1
DDBS WD Titles: WD1, WD2, WD3
Notes: While earning her CS title, Purl had a High In Test (HIT) score
beating 22 Rottweilers and 1 German Shepherd. Purl is the first Dogue de
Bordeaux to earn CS and CI carting titles as well as the first DDB to earn a RN
title through the AKC and NR1 through the NCA.

TDI - Therapy Dog International through Therapy Dog International, Inc.
TT - Temperament Tested through the ATTS (American Temperament Test Society)
CS – Carting Started through the American Rottweiler Club (ARC); first level

CI – Carting Intermediate through ARC; second level carting, off leash work
RN – Rally Novice through the AKC
NR1 – Rally through National Canine Association (NCA)

2005 ~ Liberty’s Lenox (Max)

Notes: Max is the first Dogue de Bordeaux to earn Brevet and MR1 titles.

UCD – United Companion Dog through the United Kennel Club (UKC)

test; through the Schutzhund club of Austin, TX.
Brevet – Mondioring Brevet, an introductory test of obedience and protection
work, to assess character, courage, trainability, and suitability for work;
through the Lonestar Mondioring Club in Bulverde, TX.
MR1 – Mondioring 1, basic Mondioring test, consisting of obedience, agility, and
protection; through the Lonestar Mondioring Club in Bulverde, TX.
